FHE

So, the Saratov Approach is one crazy movie. Good, but body-tenses-up-and-you-hold-your-breath-the-whole-time-and-you-think-even-though-the-chances-that-you'll-a)-go-to-Russia-in-the-first-place-and-b)-get-kidnapped-while-there-are-slim-to-none-you're-still-convinced-that-you-WILL-get-kidnapped-end-of-story.

But good.

Potentially Figuring Out My Life and Being an Adult

So, I'm not a big fan of adulting. Making major life decisions is tough and not a very fun activity. However, today I am slightly more adult than yesterday! Maybe, just maybe, I have found my major!

Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time I am an undeclared major, which essentially means I don't know what I want to do with my life.

But picking a major is a big step in the direction of figuring out my future and also life!

So, without further ado, my major may just be "Family, Consumer, and Human Development with an emphasis in Child Development and either a minor in Sign Language or I'll just take enough sign language classes to be proficient at signing and get a BA."

What can I do with this illustrious major, you ask? Good question! There is a list of things I can do with this major, but I'm not sold on any specific career, you know? I mean, I think I would enjoy working with families. And, obviously, with an emphasis in Child Development I would clearly like to work with kids. So, that's a start, right? And maybe this is not a good plan and is actually not as adult as I'm making myself out to be, but I'm getting excited over the idea of this major and the classes and all that, so for now I think I'm content to say that maybe I've found my major.

Maybe.

Spring Break

Guess where I am...

CC'S HOUSE! Yay!

It's totally a party, no big deal.

So yes, it is indeed spring break, which is a wonderful thing, especially since I got an extra week of break because of my brother's wedding, but also because I'm partying with CC.

Do you want to hear a story that happened a few days ago, I think it was Monday? Okay, so there I was, packing up my bags to leave from wedding extravaganza stuff and my friend Maddi texts me to say that she misses me! That seriously made my day. Here's the thing, Maddi's the stuff. For real.

And that's my story. I'm going to go dance and make food with CC now.

Clark Kent

It's March! Also, I love my friends. Smallville marathons with Lindsey, Cara, and EmmaLee are the best.

That's all.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

So clearly February has been ridiculously busy or something because it's kind of sad how little I've blogged this month. March will be better. I promise.

Big news, though! My brother is getting married next week!!! AH! I'm so excited for him and his lovely fiancee.

Also, that means I get an extra week for spring break! So that's a glorious thing.

But mostly it's exciting that Jeffacakes is getting married. I mean, no big deal, but it's a huge deal.

Catching Up

Oh yeah, about this whole blogging thing... apparently, I'm not very good at it, so that's cool.

I'm sitting outside the Marketplace, waiting for Cara and EmmaLee and I thought to myself, "What a wonderful world! (see what I did there? hehe) Why don't I blog a bit?!" But now that I'm blogging I'm not sure what to say...

I got a scarf yesterday! Not that exciting? But wait, there's more! I got a scarf yesterday because I signed up for housing and that's what you get when you sign up for housing. You get a scarf and an on-campus apartment style living residence with your friends! I'm so excited! But also, I have to get through this semester first.

No, let me rephrase that. Because I'm enjoying this semester a lot. After this semester I get to move to this new place and have another semester.

I really am having a fairly fantastic semester. Even though I have a 7:30 class. I'm taking Zumba and hip hop, so I feel a lot healthier than pretty much ever before, which is great.

Since we last communicated I have started doing more adult things, such as registering to vote, so I can get residency and also not procrastinating my homework as much. I know, right? Adult life. It's crazy, let me tell you.

What else can I say in the way of catching up? There's a Thirsty Thursday tonight, so that'll be fun! Also, I've recently decided that Cara and EmmaLee should hurry because apparently my stomach is not as patient as the rest of me.

Also, I have to watch a documentary for my English class and I'm going to ask my friend Maddi to watch it with me because it's about media's portrayal of women and stuff and I think she would appreciate it as much as I do. Everybody should watch it, though. It's called MissRepresentation and I think it's on Netflix, so that's convenient.

And time is passing... and it's still going... and I don't know what else to say... I apologize that this isn't quite as stimulating as I would have liked... more time passage...

What a deal! All that time passing paid off! They're here!
